Outpatient and Intensive Outpatient Treatment

Individualized treatment to meet your unique needs

At ReConnections, your journey to health and recovery begins with an Orientation Appointment, which is available at all four of our locations in Lincoln County, Benton County, and Polk County.  Your Orientation provides you with the opportunity to meet with our staff, mentors, and counselors. This allows us to help identify your needs and goals.  After your Orientation, we will schedule you an appointment with one of our counselors who will conduct a personalized assessment to explore a deeper understanding of your goals, identify any barriers to recovery, and develop strategies to reach your goals and enhance your ability to succeed.

To that end, we offer Individual Therapy sessions, Specialized Group Therapy options, (such as Seeking Safety, Nurturing Parenting, Medication-Assisted Treatment, (MAT), Cognitive Behavioral Intervention, DUI, and more), as well as Peer Support and Case Management services.

Outpatient substance use disorder (SUD) services are essential for recovery due to several key reasons:

  1. Flexibility and Accessibility: Outpatient services allow individuals to receive treatment while maintaining their daily responsibilities such as work, school, or family commitments. This flexibility makes it easier for people to seek help without completely disrupting their lives.

  2. Continuity of Care: Recovery is a long-term process, and outpatient services provide ongoing support. Regular therapy sessions, counseling, and group meetings help individuals stay on track with their recovery goals and address any challenges that arise.

  3. Support Systems: Outpatient programs often include family therapy and support groups which help strengthen the individual's support network. Engaging family and friends in the recovery process can improve outcomes by creating a more supportive environment.

  4. Cost-Effective: Outpatient treatment is generally more affordable than inpatient or residential programs. This makes it a more accessible option for many individuals, especially those without extensive insurance coverage.

  5. Relapse Prevention: Outpatient services focus on relapse prevention strategies, teaching coping mechanisms and life skills that help individuals manage triggers and avoid substance use. Regular check-ins with counselors or therapists help monitor progress and make adjustments to the treatment plan as needed.

  6. Integration into Community: Outpatient services encourage individuals to remain integrated within their community. This helps them build sober relationships and engage in healthy, productive activities which are crucial for long-term recovery.

  7. Personalized Treatment: Outpatient programs often offer a range of services tailored to individual needs such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and medication-assisted treatment. This personalized approach can address the specific challenges and underlying issues contributing to substance use.

  8. Mental Health Support: Many individuals with SUD also struggle with co-occurring mental health disorders. Outpatient services provide integrated care that addresses both substance use and mental health issues, leading to better overall outcomes.

  9. Empowerment and Independence: Outpatient treatment empowers individuals to take control of their recovery journey. By managing their treatment while navigating daily life, they build confidence and independence which are critical for sustained recovery.
